Karan Mehra aka Naitik of Star Plus’ Yeh Ristha Kya Kehlata Hai happily gives up his single status!
A certain Miss. Nisha Rawal has stolen Karan Mehra's heart. And Karan aka Naitik of Star Plus' and Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has officially declared his love, on his birthday amidst loved ones and members of the press.
It was a surprise for Nisha Rawal who came to Karan's place for his birthday party. But little did she know that the center of attraction on Karan's big day was she herself! She got out of the lift to see velvety rose petals laid as a carpet for her. When she entered Karan's home, Karan knelt down on his knees, professed his love and gave her a ring. But Karan was quick to add that the ring was his 'token of love' and not an 'engagement ring'.
What followed was a splendid display of Karan's affection for Nisha. They danced to their favorite song- 'Pehla Nasha'. Then on a screen, Karan projected a slide show of photos capturing their favorite memories with quotations framed by Karan himself! At this point Nisha got so emotional that she broke down. The families of both Karan and Nisha were also part of the wonderful celebration.

Karan talks fondly about his sweetheart. He says, "Nisha is the perfect partner who understands me totally. I feel lucky to have her in my life." Nisha too reciprocates Karan's love equally as she says, "Karan is a very disciplined guy and has all the qualities of a dream man. He is also very caring by nature. We compliment each other."
