Pulkit Samrat tipped to be part of Fauji sequel...

Pulkit Samrat, the lover boy of Kyunki is eyeing a comeback to television, and has been approached for the sequel of Fauji to be produced by Red Chillies for COLORS, and in all probability might be part of it...

Today's very popular Shahrukh Khan who got introduced to viewers thro' the show Fauji which aired on Doordarshan is all set to produce the sequel of the show for COLORS.

According to our source, "SRK's Red Chillies Idiot Box has been looking for fresh faces for the show, but inside news is that Pulkit Samrat who played the dashing lover boy, Lakshya Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has been approached for the role of Abhimanyu Singh who will be shown as SRK's son in the show".

For the uninitiated, Pulkit Samrat who got a dream debut with Balaji Telefilms' Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi was in the news for filing a petition in the Bombay High Court against Balaji for non-payment.

When contacted, Pulkit Samrat said, "Yes, I have been approached for the show. Talks are on with the production house, but nothing is finalized as of now. In fact to tell you, I have been approached by many production houses, so just can't say anything right now".

As per our source, "Pulkit is the only known name approached for the show. Majority of the cast will be the youth brigade who has been trained at Subhash Ghai's Whistling Woods".

We called Bhavna Sresth, Creative Head, Red Chillies who told us, "Pulkit is one of the names who have been approached. But we have not locked any name as of now. Most probably, we will go in for fresh faces".

The sequel of Fauji which will air on COLORS is tipped to be a biweekly and in all probability will replace Koi Aane Ko Hai…

Only time will tell whether Pulkit will be able to grab this opportunity or not!! But one interesting fact is that the boy is all set for a comeback to television…
