Sony to bring back 'Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka'.......

Shobhana Desai Productions' very popular show of yester years, Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka will be remade on Sony Entertainment Television!!

Shobhana Desai Productions, which made television viewing very entertaining for masses with the successful show Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka on Sony Entertainment Television, is back with a revamped version of the show!!

Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka, the precursor to the tide of saas-bahu sagas launched in the year 2000 and ran for approximately 1000 episodes, and was the first longest television serial ever made in Indian television industry.

According to our source, "Shobhana ji is planning to come up with a revamped version of her yester year successful show. The show will again be on Sony Entertainment Television. The story, as before will revolve around the life of a man, Purshottam Nanavati who leads his joint family of four married sons".

The show had an amazing star cast in Ajit Vachchani, Dina Pathak, Zankhana Desai, Apara Mehta, Vandana Pathak, Rasik Dave, Vaishal Thakkar and many more…

We tried calling Producer Shobhana Desai, but she remained unavailable for comment.

We called up Apara Mehta who played the role of Paro in the earlier version. When asked whether she has been approached for the show, she said "Yes, I have also heard that a new version of Ek Mahal is being considered. But I have not been approached. Even if I am approached, I cannot fit into the role of Paro again because of the age factor".

Shobhana Desai Productions is presently airing Hamari Devrani on Star Plus.

It will be really interesting to know which actors of the modern era fit into the bill to play the very popular characters of the show!!
