Farah Khan, the enduring host of Star Plus' Tere Mere Beach Mein will focus on the theme of 'Sibling Rivalry' as she unearths some very juicy details about the two cricketer brothers Irrfan Pathan and Youssuf Pathan on her chat show that will be aired on September 6th at 9 PM..
The brothers opened up and shared some funny stories that happened as a result of it. Yousuf always made Irrfan ride the bicycle whenever they went for their cricket practice. Yousuf explains, "Irrfan is a good bowler so he needed strong legs to run fast. It was all for his benefit!"
The senior Pathans too proudly spoke about their boys. The boys' father recalled those times when Irrfan and Yousuf were considered a nuisance by their neighbors. He says, "People used to get annoyed when the boys used to make noise during Namaz time or break windows. But when Irrfan got selected in the under 15 team, the same people came with garlands!"
Surprisingly their female fan following is taken very sportily by their mamma. "Once when I went home mom was all songs and smiles in the kitchen. She was brighter than usual. So I asked her what the occasion was. And my mom replied beaming- Everyday we get loads of letters from girls for you. But today one came for Yousuf," says Irrfan in between peals of laughter.
Just when we might think that Irrfan's parents must be fully content with their boys, Irrfan reveals the one thing that their parents wish of them. He says, "This time when IPL ended, mummy told us -Do what you both want but next time both of you will play in one team as we are not able to handle this pressure!"
